Disclaimer
Grounds Toolkit's engines are calculation tools, not a substitute for professional judgment. This page states plainly what they don't do.
Recommendations are scoped to what was entered
A recommendation reflects only the inputs and assumptions you provided or accepted on that engine's page. It does not know your local market conditions, your customer relationships, your crew's actual capability, seasonality, or anything outside the calculation. Where a recommendation has meaningful unmodeled factors, the engine says so directly rather than implying completeness.
No certification, no code compliance
Where a calculation touches a regulated area (application rates, for example), the engine calculates from the rate or figure you supply, or a clearly sourced and dated reference. It does not certify compliance with any label, code, or regulation, and it is not a substitute for reading and following the actual product label or applicable regulation.
Defaults can go stale
Default assumptions (wages, burden percentages, production rates) are sourced and dated. They reflect general industry data at the time they were researched, not your specific market or the current date. Always compare a default against your own known costs before relying on it, and use the advanced override fields where available.
Use your own judgment
Treat every result as a starting point for a decision you make, not the decision itself. Questions? Email privacy@groundstoolkit.com.
