Privacy
Grounds Toolkit is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains what happens with the numbers you enter and what, if anything, is collected.
Your calculator inputs
Every engine runs entirely in your browser. What you type into a calculator, crew size, wage, property size, and so on, is not sent to a server and is not stored anywhere by Grounds Toolkit. When you close the tab, it's gone, unless a future feature explicitly offers to save it locally on your own device (see below).
No account, no login
Grounds Toolkit does not require an account, a login, or an email address to use any engine. There is no customer database, no business profile stored in the cloud, and no workforce records kept anywhere.
Locally saved assumptions (future, optional)
A future version of this toolkit may let you save reusable business assumptions, like your typical crew size or target margin, so you don't have to re-enter them on every engine. If this is built, it will be stored locally in your own browser, never uploaded to a server, never required to use the site, and always visible and editable, not silently reused without you seeing what's being applied.
Analytics
Grounds Toolkit does not run product analytics (like Google Analytics) during its initial build and development phase. If analytics is introduced later, this page will be updated first, and the intended approach avoids advertising cookies, ad tracking, and unnecessary third-party trackers.
Questions
This page will be kept current as the product changes. If a change to how data is handled is made, it will be reflected here before or at the same time it ships. Questions about privacy? Email privacy@groundstoolkit.com.
