No account, nothing to leak

There is no sign-up on Grounds Toolkit and never has been. No email, no password, no customer database on our end. That single fact answers most privacy questions before they get asked, but here is the rest in plain terms.

Every number stays on your device

Crew size, wage, property size, whatever you type into an engine runs the calculation right there in your browser. Grounds Toolkit's servers never see it, never log it, and never store it. Close the tab and it's gone. A future version may let you save reusable assumptions (a typical crew size, a target margin) so you don't retype them every visit. If that ships, it will live only in your own browser's local storage, never uploaded, never required, and always visible and editable on the page that uses it.

What Google Analytics sees, and doesn't

We run Google Analytics 4 to see visit counts, which engines get used, and how people find the site, in aggregate. Every advertising signal is switched off, so none of this builds an ad profile or follows you elsewhere. Visitors in the EU, UK, EEA, and Switzerland get a cookieless version automatically, no cookie is set and no consent prompt appears, which is why there's no banner here. Everywhere else a first-party analytics cookie keeps the counts accurate, and a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser turns even that off. Your browser's own cookie or tracking-protection settings, or Google's opt-out add-on, work too, and none of it breaks a calculator.

Standard hosting logs

Cloudflare, our host, keeps the routine server logs any site needs to run and to fend off abuse (IP address, browser type, requested page). That's infrastructure housekeeping, not a record built to identify you.
