How Many Properties Can This Crew Service in a Day?
Enter average service time, average drive time between stops, and available work hours. This shows how many properties realistically fit, and how much time is left over.
How this is calculated
Time per stop is service time plus drive time. Available hours divided by time per stop, rounded down to a whole number, is how many stops fit in a day. What's left over is unused capacity, time that isn't enough for one more full stop.
Worked example
A 1-hour service time plus 15 minutes of drive time is 1.25 hours per stop. At 8 available hours, that's 6 properties per day (8 ÷ 1.25 = 6.4, rounded down), with 30 minutes left over.
Frequently asked questions
Does this include drive time to the first stop or from the last stop?
No, only drive time between stops. Add travel to and from the shop or home base separately if it is significant for your route.
Why does it round down instead of up?
A partial stop cannot actually be completed, rounding up would overcommit the crew. The leftover time is shown as unused capacity instead.
What should I use for service time if properties vary a lot?
Use a realistic average across the route, or run this calculator separately for a fast-property day and a slow-property day to see the range.
